1And concerning that which He said: In this year of jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession — this is the day of release, when He hath proclaimed liberty to the captives. 2The Year of the Lord's Favour, the day of vengeance of our God; the day of release shall be in the days of Melchizedek, who shall return them unto their possessions in the time of the end. 3He shall proclaim liberty to them, to free them from the burden of all their iniquities. This is the time of the year of grace of Melchizedek, that he may exalt the holy ones in the heights of judgment. 4As it is written concerning him in the songs of David, who said: God hath taken His stand in the assembly of God; in the midst of the gods He doth judge. He shall stand among the gods and judge. 5And concerning him the prophet Isaiah said: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who publisheth peace, that publisheth tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion: Thy God reigneth. 6The mountains are the prophets; the messenger is the Anointed of the spirit, of whom Daniel spake: Until an Anointed One, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. 7And the messenger of good tidings, who publisheth salvation, is he of whom it is written: To comfort the mourners — to instruct them in all the ages of the world. 8Zion is the congregation of all the sons of righteousness who establish the Covenant and turn aside from walking in the way of the people. 9And thy God is Melchizedek who shall deliver them from the hand of Belial. And he shall accomplish for them what hath been written: To set the captives free, to release them from the hand of all who took them captive in their iniquity. 10And the day of atonement is the end of the tenth jubilee, when atonement shall be made for all the sons of light and the men of the lot of Melchizedek. 11Belial and the spirits of his lot, who are rebellious in turning aside from the precepts of God, shall be cast down. And Melchizedek shall execute the judgments of God upon Belial and all the spirits of his lot. 12All the gods of justice shall come to his help to behold the destruction of Belial. He shall lift himself up to the height for the deliverance of the men of God. 13He shall return them unto the inheritance of God, and unto the company of the holy ones. As it is written concerning him: God hath taken His stand in the assembly of God; in the midst of the gods doth He judge. 14And so shall the lot of Melchizedek be set high above all the gods, who shall help the sons of light against Belial's company. Theirs is the rule and the dominion; theirs is the eternal salvation, world without end. 15And the day of peace shall come, of which the prophet spake: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings — and Melchizedek shall be exalted in the height; therefore shall every nation hearken to him.
