Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
1. Overview
Holy Words ("we", "us", the "Service") is a faith-based community platform that offers Bible reading, sermons, music, live streams, study rooms, messaging, a prayer wall, a memorial wall, and member-posted videos and posts. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes content and conduct that are NOT permitted on the Service. It applies to every visitor, registered member, and content creator, and supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By accessing or using Holy Words you agree to this AUP.
2. Prohibited content
You may not upload, post, stream, message, or otherwise share content that:
- Is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way. We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and report it to authorities.
- Is hateful, or harasses, threatens, degrades, or incites violence against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any protected characteristic.
- Bullies, intimidates, stalks, or threatens another person.
- Depicts or glorifies graphic violence, self-harm, suicide, or animal cruelty.
- Is defamatory, libelous, knowingly false, or intended to deceive (including misinformation that could cause real-world harm).
- Infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other intellectual-property rights.
- Contains another person's private or identifying information without their consent ("doxxing").
- Promotes scams, fraud, pyramid or "get rich quick" schemes, phishing, or requests for money under false pretenses.
- Contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Is unsolicited bulk content, spam, or repetitive promotional material.
3. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Impersonate any person, ministry, or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, paywalls, or any access or usage controls.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users without permission, or use bots/automation to abuse the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks (including denial-of-service activity).
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or to violate any applicable law or regulation.
4. Member-posted content
You are solely responsible for the content you post (videos, posts, comments, prayers, memorials, messages, profile details, and live streams). You must own it or have the rights to share it. Content you post may be reviewed by automated moderation and/or our team. We may remove, restrict, or refuse any content at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe it violates this AUP — even if it is not explicitly listed above.
5. Messaging & communications
Direct messages, room chats, and SMS notifications must not be used to harass, spam, defraud, or distribute prohibited content. SMS notifications are opt-in only and governed by our SMS Messaging Terms. You may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from texts. We never sell your phone number or use it for third-party marketing.
6. Reporting violations
If you encounter content or conduct that violates this AUP, please use the in-app Report control on the item, or email support@holywords144business.com. We review reports promptly. To report suspected child exploitation, contact us immediately; we cooperate fully with law enforcement.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result, at our sole discretion, in any of the following: removal or restriction of content; a warning; temporary suspension; permanent termination of your account; forfeiture of any paid subscription without refund; and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. We may take action without prior notice when we believe it is necessary to protect our members, the public, or the Service.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated within the app. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
